They don’t want to do without creative people, inventors and craftsmen: fence profiles and decorative boards for self-assembly of a garden fence. You determine the size of your fence panels yourself. And of course you can also implement many other ideas!With fence profiles you create individual elements – also fence solutions for inclined situations! Plan correctly: Determine the exact length of the fence.
Profile width and spacing affect the overall length of your system. Calculation example: The total length with the posts should be 400 cm. A start, middle and end post is to be planned in. B. 3 x (Ø 9 cm) = 27 cm are to be subtracted from the total length. The actual fields will have a total width of (400 – 27) ÷ 2 = 186.5 cm.
We use the fence profile 20 x 95 mm for our calculation and plan a spacing of 45 mm. Now calculate for the element width of 186.5 cm (= 1865 mm): 1865 ÷ 140 mm (= profile width + stack spacing) = approx. 13 profiles. Take a small distance from the edge of the stack to the left and right. To do this, calculate an additional joint width of approx. 10–15 mm in order to be able to attach the panels to the post with L fittings. In this example, the element width is 1850 mm.
Placing the posts: You will find the options in detail in the accessories. Only finally fix the posts when the modular profiles are screwed on. Often everything has to be pulled or compressed on site. Crossbars: The load-bearing crossbars can be fastened between the posts with L-fittings. Interesting alternative: Screw the transom continuously in front of the posts. In this way, there is an uninterrupted continuous image with no visible posts.
Assembling the fence profiles: Use a stretched alignment line, just like when aligning the posts. This gives the top edge of the fence an even course. This is particularly important if you want the height of the fence to drop evenly in incline situations. Take a suitable spacer in your joint width. This ensures an even distance between the individual fence battens. Pre-drill the fence bolts.
The screwing of the individual profiles on the back contributes significantly to the good work result. To clean the bottom of the finished element clean – z. B. when following terrain slopes or steps etc. – you can easily remove the element from the post and re-cut the lower edge unhindered
